Anita is an indie author who writes sci-fi, time travel, fantasy adventures for tween, teens, young adults, and the young at heart. She has been writing since 2017 in pursuit of her teenage desire to someday become a published author.

Dreams Become Reality

Anita was inspired by a dream in August 2023. She wrote non-stop for weeks. The dream became four novels in a series. The first is “Shifts in Time, The Adventure Begins”. These novels were a blast to write. Anita had so much fun as the adventure continued to grow each day.

Values

Anita values family, friendship, kindness, and hope above all else. These themes permeate all of her writing. They were values she taught her own children as they were growing up. She believes these values are fundamentally needed in our world today. It is only natural, therefore that these values are woven throughout the pages of her books.

Hobbies

Anita loves music of nearly every description. She enjoys nature, gardening, swimming, cooking, and puzzle games of all kinds. Her days are spent with family, and her favorite golden retriever, Shadow. Anita lives in the sea-islands of the southeast United States.

Author Books

In addition to her new “Shifts in Time Series”, she has a series of illustrated children’s books called “The Skitterbug Tales”. These stories are inspired by the birds that Anita’s daughter cared for when she was growing up.
